Lighthouse Resort

Posted by Shane On October 30th

Hello, Hope everyone is doing great. We have had a couple of cool days down here. It actually got down to the mid 50’s….. Birrrr, way to cold for boating, however, it did warm up to the mid 70’s in the day time. As of yesterday we were back in the high 80’s low 90’s. This weekend should be great for boating and a little cooler.
I have got a place for you to go to which is really fun. Now this will be a little different accessing this place, but an amusing adventure getting there. Have you heard of the Lighthouse Resort on Ft. Myers Beach. Inside of the Lighthouse Resort is the Tiki Bar and Grill. You would never know it was there. What a cool place, very, very tropical. I felt like I was in the Caribbean some where. It is hard to explain the experience here at the Tiki Bar, It was Great, Fun, exciting, everyone there was super, super nice the wait staff were very attentive. The food was good, nothing fancy but good and the cold beverages were great too. There is a pool right there to dip into. Just a great experience.

Lani Kai Island Resort

Hello everyone, Hope you all are doing great. It has been quite warm down here in sunny South West Florida. The solution for that is to jump into the cool Gulf Water, well maybe not so cool this time of year, but it does cool you down. It sure does beat being in the cold up north.

Hello everyone, I do have to apologize for not being as diligent with the boating guide as we normally are. We have been super, super busy here. People are coming in by the droves buying waterfront properties. Prices are very low and interest rates are very low as well. This is a great combination to get properties moving again.
Enough about that, now on to the fun stuff. I have got a place that is very special to me. My family and I love going to this magical place. This place is called Little Gasparilla Island, located in Placida, Florida. It is about 1 hour and 15 minutes by water from Ft. Myers. When you go there it is like stepping back in time. There are no paved roads on the island, no stores or shops on the island. Just Golf carts to cruise around the island. The beach here is absolutely beautiful. Miles and miles of white sandy beaches. If you are not a beach person, hop in the boat and go fishing or just fish off the beach or the dock. The fishing there is amazing, so many different species to catch. Did I mention there is no bridge to the island, the only way there is by boat. The accommodations on the island are great, yes there is running water and electricity. You can rent a condo or rent a house. If you want more information on rentals on the island go to
They have a great website and have all the rental information you need.
